Author Guidelines

Authors must first register an account at https://rumahjurnal.diskresi.id/index.php/kolektif and fill out the form in detail, where fields marked with an asterisk must be completed. The manuscript must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere in any form. Originality is a must. Manuscripts submitted simultaneously by the same author will not be accepted.

The Editors of KOLEKTIF: Jurnal Pendidikan, Pengajaran, dan Pembelajaran reserve the right to make editorial changes to accepted manuscripts for clarity or style improvement. Authors will be consulted if the changes are substantial. Submitted manuscripts will be screened for potential non-original work/plagiarism. By submitting a manuscript to KOLEKTIF: Jurnal Pendidikan, Pengajaran, dan Pembelajaran, authors agree to undergo an originality check (software) regulated by the journal.

Manuscripts should be typed in Book Antiqua font, size 11, with 1.15 spacing, and should be on A4 paper, totaling 3000-6000 words. Manuscripts (files) in Microsoft Word format should be submitted through the journal's website at https://rumahjurnal.diskresi.id/index.php/kolektif.

The names of the main author and co-authors should be listed without academic titles and placed below the article title. Authors must include their institutional affiliation and email address (it is recommended to use an affiliation email) below the author names section. Articles may be written in English in essay format with titles for each section of the article. The article title and section subtitles should be written in uppercase. The ranking of section titles should be written in title case. Section titles and rankings should be bold and left-aligned.

Conceptual articles are expected to contain the following:

  • Title;
  • Author Identity [Name, Affiliation, and Email {it is recommended to use an affiliation email}];
  • Abstract in Indonesian (in one paragraph, maximum 200 words) and keywords;
  • Abstract in English (in one paragraph, maximum 200 words) and keywords;
  • Introduction containing background and objectives or scope of the manuscript;
  • Discussion (which may be divided into several subsections);
  • Conclusion containing conclusions, implications, and recommendations;
  • Acknowledgments (if necessary); and
  • References (only containing cited sources).

Research articles are expected to contain the following:

  • Title;
  • Author Identity [Name, Affiliation, and Email {it is recommended to use an affiliation email}];
  • Abstract in Indonesian (in one paragraph, maximum 200 words) and keywords;
  • Abstract in English (in one paragraph, maximum 200 words) and keywords;
  • Introduction containing background, brief review, and research objectives (without subtitles);
  • Methods;
  • Results and discussion containing a results section and a discussion section;
  • Conclusion containing conclusions, implications, and recommendations;
  • Acknowledgments (if necessary); and
  • References (only containing cited sources).
  • Tables and figures should be numbered and titled.
  • References should preferably be from the last 10 years.

Authors are requested to use Mendeley or other reference management software. Preferred references are primary sources from research reports (including theses, dissertations) or research articles in journals or scientific magazines.

Citations and references should use the limited citation technique (name, year).
The reference list should be compiled and sorted alphabetically and chronologically using APA style 7th edition.

Articles should be submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS) of KOLEKTIF: Jurnal Pendidikan, Pengajaran, dan Pembelajaran by making a submission.

Articles must be received by the Editorial Board at least two (2) months before the publication date. Articles approved for the Review stage or rejected will be notified via email within 30 days of receipt by the editorial board. Unpublished articles will not be returned unless requested by the author.
